The New York State Veterans Home at Montrose offers individuals the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents by volunteering to provide services here at the facility. Volunteers are needed to provide entertainment, transport residents to appointments in the facility, provide companionship and conversation, assist the Nursing Department on the residential wings, help in the gift shop and assist in recreation programs. Volunteer help is also needed in areas of office work if you would prefer to assist in that area. We are happy to accept volunteers age 14 and older and will provide orientation and any necessary training.
